Eastbound
IÕm heading Eastbound on a jet plane
But all I want is to be bounded West.
Warm, safe and excited to be in your arms.
Lovers, friends, confidantes, warriors, partners.
Titles too generic for spirited adventurers
Deeply affected and engulfed by love that is truly rare
A gem to take in my pocket as I fly in opposite directions.
Reflecting on raucous good times and the simple moments of tranquility
Brings a knowing smile to my face
Like a secret we only share.
Share is what transpired, the hope to continue as a desire.
Solitude as respect may bring some comfort
But an empty room is a hole to hide
Those graceful emotions that stretch you miles and miles.
Like those planes that write in the sky
Those hopes, dreams and wishes to conjure
May the winds guide you traveling to a home where I am.
